Mercy! Call the Dr! Thud! You tore the roof off with that deep down soulful blues! Oh, baby! Beautiful! Scorchin HOT !! Elliott was simply Amazing! USA Today praised the concert:
'Elliott Yamin was first out of the block with a solo concert last night - barely two weeks out of the tour. He performed before over 5,000 fans at the Virginia State Fair in Richmond, VA. Fans from all over the country came in, as well as some from England and Canada. The concert was more than awesome, Elliott used Taylor Hicks' band LMBO as backup and the combination was magical. If this is what we can expect from Elliott in the future - he will be around for a long, long time.' Here's Elliott's solo concert in Richmond - Elliott & LMBO, 10/8/06:

Standing Ovation.. Outstanding performance! An Incredible night! Go Elliott!

Richmond Times Dispatch writes, 'Elliott Grooves!' Folks loved the show! 'Throughout the hour-long set - also his first full, solo concert - Yamin's voice sounded strong and healthy. He broke into the Elliott... saunter move during an electrifying keyboard solo on "Believe" and effortlessly navigated the layers of percussion and saxophone for Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On"... Yamin, 28, also has that natural gift. He knows his way around a soulful ballad, and he feels what he sings - it's obvious in his body language and the dreamy look that coats his face during a song. He also loves music to the extent that he can flip from Carole King's "You've Got A Friend," recast with a subtle jazz vibe, to the Allman Brothers' "Whipping Post," the frenetic set-closer that showcased his comfort with rock. Yamin's confidence has certainly developed, but he still keeps the focus on his technically flawless voice. He projects a laid-back charisma and appeared grateful for the support of his fans, whom he thanked often.'
Fans went wild screaming in E mania as Elliott performed his heart out! Thud! This fan couldn't stop screaming! Elliott stopped by the JDRF fundraiser to raise money for a good cause. (see video below)
